These 2 classes will cover the science of scientific Meditation based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’.

The contents of the classes include:

  • Why Meditate
  • What is Meditation
  • Correct Meditation Posture
  • How the Divine is Experienced, and
  • The Hong-Sau technique of concentration, a simple yet powerful technique taught by Paramhansa Yogananda that finds mention in the Rig Veda.

For those interested in the sacred Kriya Yoga technique extolled in Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi, this class serves as the first class in a series of classes that culminate in Kriya Yoga diksha. Both types of seekers – those who want to receive kriya yoga diksha and those who only wish to know more about how to actually mediate – will benefit from this class.
