Learn how yoga can be easily adapted to your body’s limitations. Chair yoga is a seated practice on the chair that can make yoga accessible to all those who find it difficult to get on the mat. Sitting in a chair or using a chair for support while doing yoga brings plenty of benefits–improved strength and flexibility, reduced stress, and better mental clarity – to seniors, and to those with physical pains and difficulties.

Chair Yoga has all the components of a regular Ananda Yoga class—pranayama, warm-ups, asanas, and meditation. The difference is that most of the practice is done while seated on a chair or using the chair as a prop.
