Stories & Flower Ceremony (In-Person & Online)
Join us for a beautiful evening blend of meditation, chanting, and stories to honor the birth of Sri Krishna on the eighth day (Ashtami) in the month of Shravan. Janmashtami is not merely a historical event; it’s the birth of Krishna’s consciousness in our hearts. He calls us eternally with his celestial flute to forsake worldly delusions and return to our true home. This evening, let us make a huge leap in His direction! As he says in the Bhagavad Gita:
“Keep your mind fixed on Me! Be My devotee! In ceaseless worship and adoration, bow to Me! Thus, becoming one with Me and knowing Me as your highest goal, you shall (ever) be My very own!”

“O Krishna, Lord of Hindustan, I sorrowed by the lonely Jumna river bank, where Thy flute-notes thrilled the air and led the lost calves to their homes. O Lotus of Love, musing on the sad absence of Thy delusion-dispelling eyes, I saw Thine invisible Spirit take form, frozen by my devotion’s frost.”Paramhansa Yogananda
