"Challenges and Turning Points in the Life of a Devotee"
– An Introspection Workshop with Nayaswami Shivani
Sunday, 22 February, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm (In-Person & Online)
Life often brings us to crossroads—moments when we stand between two paths and must choose which way to go. These choices may involve work, relationships, health, values, or spiritual direction.
At such times, we may feel uncertain or even afraid. Yet every crossroads carries a hidden promise: it invites us to reflect on what matters most and to choose the path that aligns not with who we’ve been but with who we are striving to become.
In this introspection workshop, you will be led by Shivani to discover the hidden blessings in the challenges and crossroads you are facing.
Introspection is a mirror in which to see the portions of your mind which otherwise would remain hidden from you. It is never too late to diagnose your failures and sort out your good and bad tendencies. Analyze what you are, what you wish to become, and what tendencies or shortcomings are impeding you. Decide what your deep and secret task is—your mission in life— so that you can make yourself what you should be and what you want to be. Paramhansa Yogananda
Introspection isn’t daydreaming or idle reflection; it’s a necessity for anyone who seeks truth. It’s a bold, conscious choice to look inward—honestly, courageously, and with a deep desire to grow. It asks us to observe ourselves with clarity and compassion, to examine both light and shadow, and to reorient our lives toward greater authenticity, fulfillment, and purpose. It is the art of being in conversation with your own soul.
