SESSION HIGHLIGHTS
Yoga & Pranayama:
Ananda Yoga to Awaken the Chakras
Practice yoga postures, pranayama, visualization and other techniques to increase the flow of energy through the chakras, and as a result, to bring positive changes in your attitudes and awareness.
Ananda Yoga to Strengthen Your Aura
A strong aura will help you ward off diseases, accidents and negative influences in your life. Work on both the strength and the quality of your magnetic field through yoga asanas and other yogic tools.
Restorative Yoga: Opening to Divine Grace
Experience a safe, nurturing, and systematic ‘active relaxation’ which helps you relax and release deep tension with no effort. We recommend you bring something to cover yourself (like a big shawl) for deep relaxation. Limited to max. 12 people per session.
Chair Yoga for Busy People
Chair yoga is a seated practice on the chair which can make yoga accessible to many more people especially seniors and those who work in office long hours. Chair Yoga has all the components of a regular Ananda Yoga class—pranayama, warm-ups, asanas and meditation.
Surya Namaskar Special
Surya Namaskar is much more than a mere physical workout. We’ll practice the sequence slowly, gracefully, and reverently, as a devotional offering of our energies to the “inner sun” – the divine within us.
Meditation & Other Classes:
Introduction to Meditation and the Path of Kriya Yoga
Learn why meditation works, a step-by-step guide to a successful meditation, and experience greater awareness through a guided meditation.
Introduction to Energization Exercises – Recharge with Cosmic Energy
Yogananda said that if we were stranded on a desert island and could have only one yogic technique, we should choose the Energization Exercises, because through them we would eventually discover the entire science of yoga. Learn key principles of Energization Exercises and experience a few in this introductory class!
Tools for Self-Healing
Learn a few basic, yet powerful techniques of self-healing taught by Paramhansa Yogananda – healing prayers and affirmation.
