The scriptures say that the world was brought into existence through the power of God’s vibration. This Cosmic Vibration manifests and sustains the Universe. This Cosmic Vibration, furthermore, has two manifestations: sound and light. The abstract aspects of truth – such as how God manifested His universe – are less immediately important to us than the question of how we ourselves might grow closer to God. The essential thing to understand, then, is that God, in His aspects of Sound and Light, can be perceived by mankind in deep inner silence.
